All forms of education will have a particular perspective on life. No form of education is neutral as it will always be providing a particular lens through which students see the world and their place in it.

Christian education invites young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. While we promote academic achievement, we also desire that our students develop servant hearts and a Christ-like attitude to allow them to live their adult lives to the honour of God.

Being a non-denominational Christian school, staff at Mountains Christian College adhere to a Statement of Beliefs which includes teaching with a Christian worldview. Our Statement of Beliefs can be viewed here. Our teachers openly model and demonstrate Christian principles and they encourage our students to succeed in school as well as in their everyday lives.

Mountains Christian College is a member of Christian Education National (CEN), which connects similar schools to ours. CEN promotes a transformational Christian worldview where Jesus’ love, power and authority inform and guide all practice and community life – including leadership, management, teaching, curriculum, and effective governance.
